Students with high educational debt are less likely to continue college beyond the first and second year. Read more...
Many Minneapolis public high school students have a significant need for financial assistance in order to continue their education. They are valedictorians as well as average students who have a strong ethic and a will to succeed. The majority of students are the first in their families to pursue a post-secondary education. They attend private colleges and universities as well as vocational and technical schools. Unfortunately, we are only able to fund one third of the qualified applicants.

We are looking for donors to provide funds to support these young people. Donors determine the level of involvement they want in their scholarship program and with the individual students. The Wallin Foundation, with the assistance of high school coordinators, and mentors provide the administrative, selection and individual support.
